Understanding the technological advances and how they changed the market.
Defining adaptation with a breakaway positioning strategy.
For this project, I conducted a detailed case study analysis on Swatch using a six-step strategic evaluation framework.
I began with a full case overview to understand the brand’s history, market position, and business environment. From there, I identified the core problem facing the company and analyzed the underlying causes impacting performance and brand direction.
After defining the issue, I developed three alternative solutions that the company could have implemented at the time, evaluating the strengths and risks of each option. I then selected the most effective solution and created a strategic implementation plan, outlining how the brand could apply this approach to improve its positioning and long-term success.
This project strengthened my skills in critical thinking, brand analysis, problem-solving, and strategic marketing planning, while demonstrating my ability to evaluate real-world business challenges and develop actionable solutions.
