This marketing plan reinvents a wine tasting as an interactive sensory experience designed for the modern host who values both a perfect pour and a great playlist.

Taste Somm Wine partnered with The Marketing Consultant Group to develop a marketing plan to create a marketing plan for their business idea.

As President of the group, I led the initial client outreach and meetings, working directly with the business owner to understand their goals, challenges, and overall vision for the brand.

After defining the scope of the project, I managed the organization of the team by setting deadlines, coordinating responsibilities, and ensuring all deliverables were completed on schedule. As part of the research process, I conducted a competitive landscape analysis by evaluating local competitors, their branding, and their marketing strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation. I also analyzed current market trends and developed a Porter’s Five Forces model to better understand the structure and competitiveness of the industry.

Using these insights, I created a strategic marketing plan for the business that included recommendations for partnering with local food influencers to increase brand awareness and attract the target audience. In addition, I designed advertising concepts for the brand and researched advertising platforms, outlining the steps needed to successfully launch promotional campaigns.

During the final presentation, I delivered the competitive and market analysis overview and helped present our strategic recommendations to the client. This experience strengthened my skills in leadership, client relations, project management, market research, and strategic marketing development.
